I describe myself as an amateur theologian. I have a love for studying, teaching, and the difficult quest to apply God’s Word to my life. I have worked as a project manager, software exec, high school Bible teacher, and missionary. None of these roles define me. I am the father of three fine young man and two lovely daughters-in-law, and the husband of one wife of 28 years and counting.
My pastimes include getting very lost outdoors, mountain biking in Central America, paddle boarding along the SoCal coast, and indoor rock climbing.

Wife, mother, daughter, friend, counselor, missionary - these are but a few words that describe me, but my desire is that all that I am can be summed up as a faithful, loving follower of Jesus. After spending most of my adult life raising our three boys, now I get to enjoy empty-nesting with my very best friend! The bonus is having sweet adult relationships with my sons and 2 beautiful daughters-in-love!
My favorites include curling up with a good book and a good latte, listening to a thunderous rainstorm, traveling to new places, mountain biking with my hubby, and time spent with the ones I love.
